The Point Source Audio CR-8D is a durable cardioid headset microphone ideal for producing performance grade audio quality. The miniature cardioid headset microphone is sturdy and has a more directional cardioid pickup pattern. Being cardioid the capsule is not waterproof so is best suited for presenters and performers who need a directional pattern without the need for high water tolerance. If you want full waterproofing you should use the OMNI capsule version of this microphone.
