The Point Source Audio CR-8L is a durable cardioid Lavalier microphone ideal for producing performance grade audio quality. The miniature cardioid lavalier microphone is discreet, sturdy and has a more directional cardioid pickup pattern to the typical OMNI. Being cardioid the capsule is not waterproof so is best suited for presenters and performers who need a directional pattern without the need for high water tolerance. If you want full waterproofing you should use the OMNI capsule version of this microphone.
