Warm Audio Launches the Dirty Boy Jr. Series
Warm Audio has teamed up with boutique pedal builder Dirty Boy Pedals to launch the new Dirty Boy Jr. Series — a compact, pedalboard-friendly range based on three of Dirty Boy’s most celebrated analog circuits.
For players who know the Dirty Boy name, this is an exciting release. Dirty Boy’s original hand-built pedals have developed a strong following among serious guitarists, with players including John Frusciante, Tom DeLonge, Neal Schon, Mark Lettieri, Tim Pierce, Justin Derrico and Blues Saraceno among those associated with the brand.
The new Jr. Series brings that boutique Dirty Boy heritage into a more accessible format, while preserving the tone, feel and personality of the original designs.
Developed in close partnership with Dirty Boy owner Danny Gomez, the range includes three pedals: Dirty Boy Jr. Booster, Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive and Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz.
Each pedal features premium analog circuitry, authentic Dirty Boy styling and a compact format suited to modern pedalboards, studio setups and live rigs.
Dirty Boy Jr. Booster
The Dirty Boy Jr. Booster is based on the original Dirty Boy boost circuit, rebuilt into a compact Jr. format.
It delivers boutique clean-to-mean boost tones with up to 10dB of gain, giving players everything from transparent level lift through to saturated British-style breakup, compression and fuzz-inspired textures.
Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive
The Dirty Boy Jr. Overdrive is based on the original Dirty Boy Preamp/OD circuit.
Designed as an overdrive, preamp and all-analog amp simulator, it delivers boutique overdrive tones with dynamic breakup, speaker-emulated output and a Variac control for added sag and compression.
It can be used in front of an amp, as a preamp, or direct into an interface, mixer or live system.
Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz
The Dirty Boy Jr. Fuzz is based on the original Dirty Boy Fuzz circuit, rebuilt into a compact format with expanded tone shaping.
It delivers vintage-style fuzz tones with rich sustain, dynamic cleanup and harmonic saturation. A six-position frequency selector lets players move between thicker, low-end-heavy fuzz tones and sharper, more cutting textures.
